Artist Biography
Artist David Wayne Jamieson sr. was born in New Orleans on June 26, 1951. He has studied under:
- Norm Dobbins- glass carving and etching
- Diane Desormeaux- painting
- Ellen Caillouet- stained glass
- Kim Fontenot- stained glass and carved glass
David started Inspirational Stained glass in 1994. Most of his work is by commission or windows and doors through contractors.
Commissions have included work for:
- Lafayette High School, Lafayette, La
- Sacred Heart Church, New Iberia, La
- Our Lady of Sorrows, St. Martinville, La
- 1st Baptist Church, Marshall, Texas
- Fairview Baptist Church, Fairview, Texas and many others
Ninety percent of all work is completed in the Inspirational Glass Studio. They natural beauty of Louisiana is reflected in many of David’s works. He has been creating glass art since 1989 and it is his passion.
David is a member of:

- Louisiana Crafts Guild
He has served in the army --Youngsville volunteer fire dept-Red Cross - taught at ULL at Lafayette and in our studio.
