As we all watch Washington and wait to see what Congress and the President will do with the budget ceiling, we realize that all of us can and will be affected. Most artists have already felt the pinch of the economy and are continuously trying to adjust. Because of who we are, we constantlymake adjustments and reinvent ourselves and our work.
The Board has been very busy this month with all kinds of activity. There has been the ongoing inventory at Sans Souci, submitting grant reports, applying for new grants, preparing for Festivals Acadiens et Creoles, and generally trying to come up with some funding support for the Guild's continued growth. On that note, we would welcome any ideas that members might have to help do Guild Development.
