Artist's Statement: Camp Topisaw is my home—95 acres on the beautiful Topisaw Creek in southwest Mississippi. Here, in La Petite Maison (my “Little House” studio built with lumber from vintage railroad cars) I handcraft traditional soaps, skincare products and natural wax candles.
I strive to offer fun, useful & unique products that reflect my love of family, life outdoors and nostalgic design.

Artist Biography:
I’ve always been someone who “made things”. Over the years I’ve delved into printmaking, weaving, photography and sculpting. It’s funny, to me, and interesting that I seem to have landed in soap making—such a seemingly mundane craft but the one in which I’ve found the most satisfaction. I truly work with raw materials: oil, wax, lye, water--combining them, finessing them into products that people can actually use--products that will, hopefully, enhance their everyday lives—that will help them feel a connection with something real.
