Artist's Statement: I find metal work unlimited. I am so inspired by metal that I want transform it, give it texture and add color. In my metal work I use collage with silk papers and enamel to give colors, I add movement with hinges, and I weave with wire to connect piece of work together. I use cold connection with rivets or solder the pieces together. I want my work to reflect my love for sculpture, movement and colors.

Artist Biography:
I was always interested in beads but about eight years ago, when I was still living in France, my desire to create something that reflected me really started. Moving to Baton Rouge gave me the opportunity to launch myself and to explore my creativity even more. I decided to improve my skills and learn new techniques. I took classes in different media such as bead weaving, basket weaving, sculpture and wire work. In 2007 at FestForAll, I had the chance to win a week at Arrowmont to take art classes. I took a metal work class and it had opened a new horizon for my work. I wanted to learn metalsmith techniques. I started to take classes and I have not stopped since. Also, I use nylon string of various colors with beads knotted or crocheted individually. It creates unique pieces according to the number of strings and the way the beads are knotted or crocheted together.
