Artist's Statement: Designing and creating one-of-a-kind jewelry and beaded accessories since 2000, I strive to construct unique works of wearable art and sculptured wire pieces using precious metals, freshwater pearls, Swarovski crystals, gemstones, and glass beads. My methods include crocheting with wire, free-form wire working, and other beading techniques to fashion jewelry that will be treasured by the wearer as original and distinctly artistic pieces.

Artist Biography:
I have always been interested in creative endeavors and learned to crochet from my mother as a young girl. I came to beading and wire as an adult when I took a class at a local bead shop. Crocheting with wire and not yarn or string came about when a friend and fellow Louisiana Crafts Guild member, Laura Teague, suggested I give wire a try and -- I was “hooked.”
