Artist's Statement: I use an acetelyn tourch which I use to Reticulate, Fuse and Solder Sterling Silver.I am using all of the common Silversmithing tools used to create Jewelry. Various Pliers Rolling Mill,Saws and Hammers.I also do Cuttlebone castings, and make my own Dichroic fused Glass Cobochons and Solid Glass Braceletts and Necklaces ( in my Kiln) which I link with Sterling Silver.I also set Semi precious Stones in Silver.I love to use unusual Stones like Fossils which are not Commonly seen in Jewelry, just to have something different. All of my designs are one of a kind. I would call my Jewelry contemporary and Earthy because of the touchable textures I apply to my Pieces. My inspiration is many things. I am certainly influenzed by living in New Orleans, but am inspired by people I meet, and places I see. I like to Create and never stop learning new Techniques.

Artist Biography:
SABINE Z. CHADBORN
Contemporary Sterling Silver Jewelry Designer
I do not plan out my Jewelry, but approach my workbench with a basic idea and work on a piece until I am satisfied with its final outcome.
I prefer different textures on the Sterling silver. I achieve these by Hammering, Pressing, and Reticulation of the Silver.
I also do “Cuttlebone” Casting which is a challenging but rewarding process.
My main goal is to create something unique. I don’t have any Identical Pieces. All of my designs are originally conceived and handcrafted to the highest quality of my abilities.
My work is as “individual as the person wearing it!”
