Artist's Statement:
My daily work as a ceramic artist is a unchartered journey of creation. Clay is my vehicle to express the sensual forms, patterns and textures found in nature.
The utilitarian function of the vessel is the jumping off point, setting the course to express the delicate balance of contrasting elements and translating them into my work.
The feelings that the piece evokes and the relationship it produces, inspiring people to utilize it in their daily lives is what is most important to me.

Artist Biography:
Living and creating with my family and studio dogs in Louisiana, I look to nature for inspiration. I use nature’s organic patterns, textures and form; translating these images into my work.
I create one of a kind earthenware, stoneware, and porcelain ceramic pieces. The hand made vases and dishes are embossed with leaves from my garden.
