Craft Medium:  Mixed Media Artist's Statement: beading - I create artistic jewelry using seed beads as my paint, a needle and thread as my brush and individuals as the canvas. I use a variety of stitches creating my designs, which are one of a kind. The pattern reflects my thinking as i bead and i am never sure as to how it will look until after it is completed. My creations evolve one bead at a time. I do not use looms or other types of aids. Many of my pieces are accented with pearls, crystals, and semi-precious stones. I frequently use decorative buttons as clasps.
