Artist's Statement: Luis Perez is from Breaux Bridge, La., the heart of Acadian Country. He is a businessman, sportsman, chef, family man, and artist. Perez creates unique rustic projects using salvaged items.
He is of Spanish, Mexican and Tarahumara Indian descent. He was born and raised in Leon, Mexico. Luis is proud of his heritage and it often shows up in his art.

Artist Biography:
Luis dreamed of becoming an artist as a very young child. But coming from a big family he had to go to work at a young age. His dream of Fine Arts in college never came true. The lack of a formal education did not hinder his desire to do his art. He lives a simple life but his dream for his art is far from simple. Hard work followed by success has been the pattern of his life.
