BIOGRAPHY
Coco Marie Brown's background includes Certified Welder, Bachelor of Fine Arts Metropolitan State College/University of Colorado Denver, Antique Textile Restoration and Architectural Restoration. She has studied with Master Blacksmith Frank Turley in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
Coco Marie Brown's professional affiliations have included Board of Directors Louisiana Crafts Guild, membership in the Artists Blacksmith Association of North America (ABANA) and LAMA- the Louisiana Metalsmiths Association.
She is a recipient of the Louisiana Division of the
Arts 2009/2010 Career Advancement Grant
