Clay / Lafayette, LA

Outstretched tree branches, veins in leaves and all other natural elements mimic inner dimensions, physically and emotionally. These appear in my work as symbols of exploration and growth, telling my stories and allowing viewers to connect their own stories. After spending many years painting, printmaking, and working in mixed media, I now work with the warmth and pliability of clay for functional and sculptural objects.
